Diane Fudge is a Certified Dental Assistant with more than 25 years of clinical experience, specializing in oral surgery, implant dentistry, IV sedation, and advanced surgical procedures. Throughout her distinguished career, she has worked alongside leading implant dentists and oral surgeons, developing extensive expertise in complex surgical workflows and patient care.

As a faculty member with Gemination Dental CE, Diane is passionate about sharing her real-world knowledge with dental professionals. She provides hands-on instruction in surgical assisting, aseptic technique, implant surgical setup, instrument sequencing, IV sedation support, IPAC protocols, and surgical operatory efficiency. Her approachable teaching style and commitment to excellence help dental assistants and clinical teams develop the confidence and skills needed to excel in today’s surgical environment.

Diane is recognized for her exceptional organization, attention to detail, and ability to create a calm, efficient clinical setting that enhances both patient safety and team performance. Thomas Furlong, DA
Thomas Furlong is an enthusiastic and dedicated dental assistant who brings a strong work ethic, exceptional attention to detail, and a genuine passion for learning to every clinical setting. Although he is new to the dental profession, Thomas has quickly distinguished himself through his professionalism, adaptability, and commitment to delivering outstanding patient care.

As a member of the Gemination Dental CE team, Thomas assists in clinical education programs by supporting hands-on training, preparing surgical operatories, maintaining aseptic technique, organizing instruments and materials, and helping ensure each course runs efficiently. His positive attitude and eagerness to expand his knowledge have made him a valued member of the educational team.

Thomas is committed to continuous professional growth and embraces every opportunity to learn from experienced clinicians and educators. His dedication to excellence, combined with his ability to work collaboratively and remain calm in a fast-paced environment, positions him for a successful career in dentistry.

Marija Franjic, CDA

Marija Franjic is a Certified Dental Assistant with more than 20 years of experience in all aspects of clinical dentistry, with a strong focus on oral surgery, implant dentistry, and advanced patient care. Throughout her career, she has built a reputation for clinical excellence, exceptional organization, and a commitment to delivering the highest standard of patient care.

As a faculty member with Gemination Dental CE, Marija provides hands-on instruction in surgical assisting, implant surgical protocols, aseptic technique, instrument sequencing, sterilization and IPAC standards, and efficient clinical workflow. Her extensive chairside experience allows her to bridge theory with practical application, helping dental assistants and clinical teams gain confidence in advanced surgical procedures.

Marija is passionate about mentoring dental professionals and believes that education, preparation, and teamwork are the foundation of successful patient outcomes. Her patient-centered approach, attention to detail, and calm, supportive teaching style create an engaging learning environment where participants can develop both their technical skills and clinical confidence.

Margie Karika CDA

Dental Professional | Treatment Coordinator | Practice Management & Education

Margie Karika is an accomplished dental professional with more than 20 years of experience in dentistry, bringing a wealth of knowledge in clinical assisting, treatment coordination, practice management, team leadership, and patient care.

She is the mother of two professionally successful daughters.  Relocated to Ontario from Southern Illinois in 2019.

Throughout her career, Margie has held key leadership positions within dental and orthodontic practices, where she has managed clinical and administrative teams, coordinated patient treatment, supported practice growth, and developed strong relationships with patients and referring dental professionals.

As an experienced Treatment Coordinator and Practice Manager, Margie has guided patients through their treatment journey, from the initial consultation and discussion of treatment options to financial arrangements and treatment acceptance. Her approachable communication style and extensive experience allow her to connect with patients while helping dental teams deliver an organized and exceptional patient experience.

Margie also brings significant experience in team development, scheduling, marketing, referral relationships, and practice growth. In previous leadership roles, she managed teams of up to 12 dental professionals and played an integral role in generating hundreds of new patient relationships annually.

At Gemination Dental CE, Margie brings her practical, real-world dental experience to education and training, helping dental professionals strengthen their communication, treatment coordination, patient experience, and overall practice systems.

Her passion for dentistry, commitment to continued learning, and extensive hands-on experience make Margie a valued member of the Gemination Dental CE team.

Kendal Middleton

Sterilization Technician

Kendal Middleton is our dedicated Sterilization Technician and a valued member of the team. A graduate of Fanshawe College, Kendal plays an essential role in maintaining the highest standards of infection prevention and control.

With a strong focus on organization, attention to detail, and patient safety, Kendal ensures that our instruments and clinical environments are properly processed and prepared according to established sterilization and IPAC protocols. Her work behind the scenes is an important part of providing safe, efficient, and exceptional care to every patient.
